Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant – Central Europe Team

About the role

The Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant will support the Central Europe Team by handling day‑to‑day AP processes, supplier relationships, and month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process, match, code invoices and execute payment runs.
• Monitor and clear aged credit reports.
• Liaise with suppliers, manage reconciliations and banking account changes.
• Conduct month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Train and educate finance colleagues across functions.
• Document service‑related business knowledge and ensure compliance with global accounting policies.
• Meet Service Level Agreements and perform tasks efficiently and professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in AP.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication.
• Collaboration, customer orientation and analytical, solution‑focused mindset.
• Willingness to learn and embrace Yara’s values and inclusive culture.
• Eligible to work in Lithuania.
