Advertising Strategy Lead

About the role

We are seeking an Advertising Strategy Lead to own Bison’s advertising strategy and investment across Amazon, Walmart and D2C channels. This role focuses on translating commercial priorities into investment plans, allocating budgets, and evaluating performance rather than day‑to‑day campaign management.

Key responsibilities

• Own advertising strategy across Amazon, marketplaces and DTC, defining channel roles, investment priorities, budgets and forecasts.
• Evaluate advertising performance using ACOS, TACoS, ROAS, CTR, conversion, revenue and product metrics, and adjust budgets accordingly.
• Define campaign structures, targeting, bidding, and optimization principles, and work with operations to automate repetitive processes.
• Identify growth opportunities with product and D2C growth leads, lead experiments across channels and turn learnings into repeatable practices.
• Provide clear reporting and communicate insights to cross‑functional teams to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid media, Amazon Ads or a similar commercial role.
• Strong strategic understanding of advertising beyond campaign‑level optimization.
• Experience managing significant advertising budgets and making investment decisions based on commercial impact.
• Strong analytical skills with confidence working with revenue, margin, ROAS, ACOS, TACoS, CAC and conversion metrics.
• Ability to connect media performance with wider product, pricing and commercial performance.
• Experience leading or mentoring PPC/paid‑media specialists.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams.
