AI Engineer

About the role

Join the AI Integrations squad at Oxylabs, building critical AI services that boost developer productivity across a team of 60 engineers. You will own the full lifecycle of AI-driven tools, from design through production, in a fast‑changing AI landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise existing AI services with high observability and reliability.
• Design and implement new internal AI services to increase developer productivity.
• Manage service lifecycles, including Docker containers, Kubernetes resources, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with other squads to identify bottlenecks and deliver tailored AI solutions.
• Upgrade incident context‑gathering service for automated rotation handling.
• Develop automations and plugins for Spotify Backstage to enhance internal documentation.

Required profile

• Solid production experience coding in Python or Go.
• Hands‑on experience with AI integrations, APIs, prompt engineering, and hybrid deterministic/AI logic.
• Proven ability to own services end‑to‑end, including deployments and CI/CD.
• Experience implementing observability (metrics, logging, SLIs).
• Proactive, pragmatic mindset comfortable engaging directly with developers.
