AI Speech & Audio Specialist – ASR, TTS & Voice AI (Freelance, English)

Main Responsibilities

• Evaluate naturalness, pronunciation, rhythm, tone and emotion of voices generated by TTS systems.
• Analyze and correct ASR transcriptions, identifying transcription errors, accent issues and linguistic nuances.
• Perform professional audio editing: segmentation, cutting, noise reduction, silence adjustment and sound quality enhancement.
• Use waveform and spectrogram analysis tools to detect quality defects.
• Contribute to creation, validation and enrichment of vocal datasets for training and evaluating AI models.
• Ensure consistency, clarity and articulation of vocal recordings provided by contributors.

Required Profile

• Proven experience in audio production, sound engineering, applied linguistics or vocal technologies.
• Fluent English (native level or equivalent); additional languages are a plus.
• Strong skills with audio editing tools (Audacity, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, etc.) and spectral analysis.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to spot subtle pronunciation and emotional expression nuances.
• Ability to work autonomously in a freelance setting while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication with technical and linguistic teams worldwide.
