AI Technical Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on AI Technical Lead to drive the technical direction of a large‑scale corporate banking platform serving hundreds of thousands of customers across the Nordics. The role combines backend architecture, complex engineering, and end‑to‑end ownership while remaining actively involved in coding.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product’s technical architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability and security.
• Write and review backend code, design resilient APIs and distributed services, and maintain data flows.
• Promote engineering best practices such as automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability and code quality.
• Guide technical decisions and delivery priorities across the team.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, UX designers and other engineering groups.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, regulatory and operational resilience requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Staff Engineer or Senior Software Engineer with ownership of architecture.
• Strong backend development background, preferably with C# and .NET Core.
• Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, API architecture and scalable applications.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD and modern engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions with diverse stakeholders.
