Air-to-Road Director – Asia to Europe

About the role

Everwest is seeking a senior commercial leader to scale its proven Asia‑to‑Europe Air‑to‑Road solution. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will develop the proposition, identify cargo flows where road can replace air freight, and bring the solution to European customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and further develop the Air‑to‑Road product and commercial proposition.
• Build the European go‑to‑market strategy and identify suitable cargo flows.
• Manage a pipeline of strategic European customers and open doors with senior supply‑chain decision‑makers.
• Educate customers on value of shifting cargo from air to road and develop business cases.
• Work with operations, pricing, customs and network teams to define lanes, pricing models and service specifications.
• Lead opportunities from pilot discussions through implementation and convert pilots into recurring business.
• Take responsibility for revenue, gross margin and overall commercial performance.

Required profile

• Senior commercial, product, business development or key‑account experience in air freight, global freight forwarding, time‑critical logistics, multimodal transportation or Asia‑to‑Europe supply chains.
• Strong relationships with senior European supply‑chain, logistics and procurement decision‑makers.
• Deep industry knowledge of sectors such as fashion, consumer electronics, automotive or other time‑sensitive industries.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build customer‑specific solutions and scale a business.

Required skills

• Experience in commercial strategy, go‑to‑market planning and multimodal logistics.
• Ability to develop business cases based on transit time, reliability, inventory impact and cost.
