Assembly & Installation Engineer – Vacuum Coating Equipment

About the role

I-Photonics UAB, a leading manufacturer of high‑tech industrial equipment, is looking for an Assembly and Installation Engineer to join its team. You will work with advanced vacuum coating systems, supporting customers from prototype to mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install and commission vacuum coating equipment.
• Perform warranty and post‑warranty maintenance on complex machinery.
• Upgrade and modernise existing coating equipment to meet new specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper integration of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components.

Required profile

• Technical education with an engineering specialization.
• 1‑3 years of experience assembling, installing, adjusting or repairing complex industrial equipment.
• Strong literacy in mechanics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and work from design and electrical documentation.
• Willingness to travel for long‑term business trips.
• Conversational English.
