About the role
Join DFDS Seaways as an Assistant Cook on international ferry routes. You will work aboard a Lithuanian‑registered vessel, supporting the kitchen team in delivering high‑quality meals to passengers and crew.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior cooks with daily food preparation and cooking tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the galley and workstations.
- Follow safety, hygiene, and maritime regulations at all times.
- Help with inventory checks, stock rotation, and basic food storage.
- Ensure timely service of meals during voyages.
Required profile
- Valid maritime documents and certifications.
- Hard‑working, honest, proactive and responsible attitude.
- Very good command of English.
- Willingness to work in a multicultural, inclusive team.
