Audit Consultant

About the role

Saldo Bank UAB is a specialised bank licensed by the European Central Bank and regulated by the Bank of Lithuania. The Audit Consultant will join the internal audit team to execute audits, assess risks and support the bank’s control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and report on audits according to the annual internal audit plan.
• Identify and evaluate risks across credit, liquidity, operational and IT/cybersecurity domains.
• Test the adequacy and operational effectiveness of internal controls, highlighting gaps and recommending solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports for senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and regulatory mandates.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business units on risk and control best practices while maintaining audit independence.

Required profile

• University degree in business management, auditing, finance or economics.
• At least 1 year of experience as an auditor or internal controller (credit risk or finance risk experience is a plus).
• Excellent command of Lithuanian and English.
• Strong analytical, communication and critical‑thinking skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of spreadsheets.
