About the role

We are looking for a skilled automotive mechanic to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical components of heavy‑truck and self‑propelled units. The role offers flexible scheduling to match employee availability and company needs, with the possibility of shift work on a weekly roster.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on heavy‑truck and self‑propelled equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Service tachographs and interpret related data.
• Read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and circuits.
• Collaborate with mentors for up‑skilling from light‑vehicle to heavy‑vehicle systems.

Required profile

• Technical education or acquired technical qualification (incomplete studies accepted).
• Experience repairing trucks or self‑propelled units; experience with light‑vehicle or production equipment is also considered.
• Ability to work in a shift schedule and adapt to flexible hours.
