Baltic Operations Director

About the role

Ayvens is looking for an experienced Baltic Operations Director to lead operational strategy and execution across Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Reporting to the Baltic Managing Director and sitting on the Baltic Management Team, the role drives business performance, operational excellence, customer satisfaction and sustainable growth. It also acts as a local leadership ambassador for Ayvens in Lithuania.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the operations strategy across the Baltic countries
• Lead key functions including Customer Service, Procurement, Technical Operations and Operational Excellence
• Drive efficiency, process optimisation and continuous improvement
• Own operational budgeting, cost control and profitability programmes
• Manage suppliers, service providers and partners
• Build and develop multicultural teams across several locations
• Monitor performance through KPIs and act on corrective measures
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and industry standards, and lead business transformation initiatives

Required profile

• Experience in the automotive, fleet management, leasing, mobility or related industry
• Senior operations leadership experience
• Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting and cost management
• Track record of operational excellence and business transformation
• Leadership through coaching and mentoring, and experience with multicultural, geographically dispersed teams
• Analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Fluent written and spoken English
