Business Controller – Finance & Controlling

About the role

Metso is seeking a Business Controller to join its Controlling team in Vilnius. You will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis and supporting business decisions within a fast‑growing, sustainable industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Period‑end closing activities, financial validation and reconciliations.
• Cash‑flow, P&L and balance‑sheet analysis.
• Preparation of monthly management reports and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Maintain and update forecasts, budgets and financial projections.
• Monitor business performance and KPIs, providing actionable insights.
• Develop and implement internal controls, financial policies and ensure compliance.
• Support business stakeholders as a trusted finance partner and perform risk assessments.
• Participate in projects, system implementations and new tool development.
• Assist internal and external audits and ensure data accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of relevant finance or controlling experience.
• Customer‑service mindset and strong analytical abilities.
• Fast learner, adaptable to a fast‑paced environment.
• High level of responsibility, detail‑oriented and teamwork oriented.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• SAP (experience with accounting modules preferred).
