Commissioning Engineer – Low Voltage Systems

About the role

You will join a leading provider of electrical solutions to deliver on‑site commissioning, diagnostics and support for low‑voltage power distribution systems across Europe. The role involves extensive travel and hands‑on work with LV switchboards, circuit breakers and related equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform startup and commissioning of LV products, including switchboards, circuit breakers, ATS, meters and protection relays.
• Evaluate installations, verify operational readiness and carry out on‑site adjustments.
• Diagnose failures through root‑cause analysis to distinguish quality, software or operational issues.
• Collaborate with service engineers and partners during site interventions.
• Document test results, produce work reports and train customers on basic operation.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on LV equipment.

Required profile

• Electrical engineering background (university degree or equivalent technical experience).
• Approximately 5 years of commissioning or field‑service experience with LV power distribution.
• Strong understanding of LV electrical principles, automation and protection concepts.
• Ability to read technical documentation, analyse installations and propose practical solutions.
• Excellent hands‑on mechanical and electrical skills, comfortable with measurement tools.
• Fluent English communication (minimum B2 level).
