Corporate & Compliance Lawyer

About the role

Citadele Bank is an innovative, data‑driven organization with a strong focus on digital solutions. We are looking for a Lawyer to provide legal advice and support across corporate, commercial, insurance, employment, marketing, GDPR, DORA and general compliance matters in Lithuania.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on corporate, commercial, insurance, employment, marketing, GDPR, DORA and general compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear analyses on various legal and regulatory topics.
• Prepare, update, and maintain internal corporate and employment documentation such as policies, guidelines, procedures, and templates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Work with the bank’s products, assist with their development, and handle client complaints.

Required profile

• Higher education in law.
• Proven professional legal experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or insurance.
• Knowledge of data‑protection principles, insurance legal requirements and DORA regulations is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Lithuanian.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in leasing would be considered an advantage.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle challenges; proactive and motivated to learn and grow.
