Data Team Lead – Drive Data Strategy for Fast‑Growing Lifestyle Brand

About the role

BURGA is looking for a Data Team Lead to shape and execute its data strategy. You will turn data into a strategic asset that powers product launches, marketing, and operational excellence for a rapidly scaling lifestyle brand.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a long‑term data vision aligned with company goals.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a team of data analysts and engineers.
• Oversee the design and maintenance of data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, security, and accessibility for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to deliver actionable insights.
• Educate employees on data‑driven decision making through training and success stories.
• Redesign reports to improve accuracy, usability, and strategic value.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or data engineering.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team of data specialists.
• Proven ability to build and motivate high‑performing data teams.
• Experience working with large‑scale datasets, preferably in e‑commerce or DTC.
• Demonstrated success creating and executing data strategies.
