Developer Advocate 🥑

About the role

SearchApi is seeking a Developer Advocate to become the technical face of the company. You will create and present video content, demos, and community engagements that showcase the real‑time SERP API to developers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Produce short‑form, long‑form videos and webinars, acting as the on‑camera technical expert.
• Build end‑to‑end demos using the SearchApi API and ensure they run live during presentations.
• Engage with developer communities through talks, podcasts, livestreams, and occasional conferences.
• Gather developer feedback, identify friction points, and relay feature requests to the product team.
• Create written content such as integration guides, example applications, and blog posts to enhance developer experience.

Required profile

• Strong technical background capable of building functional demos.
• Comfortable and engaging on camera, with clear native‑level English communication.
• Professional recording setup with good audio, video, and a suitable space.
• Self‑directed and consistent, able to ship content on a regular cadence.

Required skills

• API integration and demonstration.
• Video production and editing.
• Use of AI tools for scripting, editing, and rapid development.
