About the role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to evolve and scale our Pay TV cloud ecosystem in Vilnius. You will design, build and operate modern AWS‑based platforms supporting seamless entertainment experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimise AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts and environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
- Manage cloud‑native platforms including Amazon ECS, EKS (Kubernetes) and AWS Lambda.
- Champion observability with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana and BugSnag.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to balance platform standards, scalability and developer autonomy.
- Design secure, resilient, highly‑available AWS architectures with multi‑region, auto‑scaling and disaster‑recovery capabilities.
- Implement AWS security best practices across IAM, KMS, compliance controls and network security.
- Design and optimise AWS networking solutions such as VPCs, Transit Gateway, load balancing, DNS and service‑mesh technologies.
- Foster knowledge sharing through mentoring, documentation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Explore AI‑assisted development practices using GitHub Copilot and modern engineering tools.
Required profile
- Strong technical expertise combined with a collaborative mindset.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud‑native technologies.
- Extensive experience with Amazon ECS, EKS (Kubernetes), container orchestration and platform operations.
- Deep understanding of AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, Transit Gateway, routing, DNS, load balancing and service‑mesh solutions.
- Strong knowledge of AWS security, IAM, KMS, security groups, resource policies and compliance controls.
- Experience building resilient, highly‑available architectures using multi‑AZ, auto‑scaling, disaster‑recovery and multi‑region strategies.
- Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Confluence, GitHub and collaborative ways of working across distributed teams.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
