DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer reporting to the Senior Director, you will ensure Nasdaq's Trading Technology infrastructure runs smoothly, evolves, and delivers high performance. You will work primarily from Vilnius while collaborating with teams in Bangalore and Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated build, deployment, and operational processes to improve delivery speed and reliability.
• Manage and evolve cloud and container‑based infrastructure, keeping environments stable, secure, and consistently maintained.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code to drive repeatability and reduce manual effort.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines for faster, safer releases across Trading Technology.
• Partner with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance observability, and drive automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or OCI) and container environments such as Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, e.g., Python.
• Experience with source code management tools and CI/CD practices.
