DevOps Engineer – Trading Technology

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer reporting to the Senior Director, you will ensure Nasdaq’s Trading Technology infrastructure runs smoothly, evolves, and delivers high performance. You’ll work primarily from Vilnius, collaborating with teams in Bangalore and Sydney, and take ownership from problem investigation through to reliable resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated build, deployment, and operational processes to improve software delivery speed and reliability.
• Manage and evolve cloud and container‑based infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure, and consistently maintained environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code, driving repeatability and reducing manual effort.
• Support and enhance continuous integration and deployment pipelines for faster, safer releases.
• Partner with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, improve observability, and drive automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or OCI) and container environments such as Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, e.g., Python.
• Experience with source‑code management tools and CI/CD practices.
