Electrical Design Engineer – Automation Solutions

About the role

Dematic is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join its Lithuania team. You will design and deliver high‑quality, compliant electrical systems that power innovative automated material handling solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret design input to create control system designs and ensure CE compliance with the Machinery Directive.
• Produce design and manufacturing programmes, calculations, specifications, operation & maintenance manuals, and test specifications.
• Develop electrical layout and schematic drawings using appropriate CAD tools.
• Procure electrical control panels and installation services, coordinating technical matters with suppliers.
• Provide technical information to internal teams such as installation supervisors, project engineers, and purchasing.
• Support the service team with bug fixes, enhancements, and modifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, Controls Hardware Engineer or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience in industrial electrical design and automation projects.
