Electrical Installation Supervisor – Controls Projects

About the role

The Electrical Installation Supervisor is a key member of TGW Northern Europe’s projects team, responsible for coordinating and supervising electrical installation and control system commissioning on large automation projects across Europe. The role requires frequent on‑site presence and close interaction with customers, contractors, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire site‑specific knowledge (schedule, layout, contracts, customer requirements).
• Coordinate electrical installation and downstream trades, including third‑party machines and fire‑protection systems.
• Organise and log regular coordination meetings and produce progress reports.
• Monitor installation quality, contractual and normative compliance, and record contractor hours.
• Maintain open‑point lists, manage spare‑parts inventory, and oversee handover of TGW electrical components.
• Conduct safety briefings, ensure compliance with site safety regulations, and manage site access documentation.
• Support hardware commissioning, drive‑commander tests, performance tests, TÜV inspections, and red‑pencil documentation.
• Act as first escalation level for the Controls area on site.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of electrical installation processes and control system integration.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing on‑site documentation.
• Ability to produce clear written and verbal progress reports.
• Proactive in identifying deviations and driving corrective actions.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and site access procedures.
