Embedded Software Engineer – Security Systems

About the role

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop firmware for security‑focused devices used in automotive and building protection systems. You will work on microcontroller‑based products such as vehicle security modules, alarm control panels and communication units, delivering reliable and secure functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain embedded C/C++ firmware for microcontroller‑based security devices.
• Develop security‑related features including immobilisation, locking control, alarm management, remote operation and device communication.
• Ensure system stability, fault tolerance and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Debug and validate hardware using JTAG, CAN analyzers, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with custom electronic designs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in embedded systems development using C/C++.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller architecture and low‑level programming principles.
• Hands‑on experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers or CAN analyzers.
• Knowledge of real‑time operating systems and multitasking architectures.
• Ability to work independently on technically complex problems.
