Engineering Manager

About the role

Oxylabs is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Ecom squad, responsible for delivering high‑quality data to AI, e‑commerce and advertising customers. You will shape the team, ensure operational excellence and mentor the next generation of scraping engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sprint planning, manage JIRA backlogs and estimate ETAs to align business and technical goals.
• Prioritize issues based on business value, prevent scope creep and maintain focus on high‑impact work.
• Drive OKR planning, propose product initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Foster a motivating, burnout‑free culture through workload distribution and mentorship.
• Participate in technical discussions, optimise Agile workflows and resolve daily roadblocks.

Required profile

• Practical software development background with experience leading technical teams (servant‑leadership mindset).
• Strong organisational, prioritisation and stakeholder‑management skills, data‑driven decision making.
• Resilience and curiosity, able to thrive in a hybrid, international environment.

Required skills

• Web development fundamentals, system design, HTML, JavaScript and REST APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with GIT, CI/CD pipelines and software deployment.
• Familiarity with JIRA for Agile planning.
• Knowledge of back‑end languages such as Python or Go (nice to have).
