Estimator – Prefabricated Wooden Buildings

About the role

We are seeking an Estimator to join our team and take responsibility for preparing cost estimates and material quantity calculations for timber building projects. You will work with technical project documentation and drawings, delivering accurate estimates while identifying opportunities to optimise solutions and costs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare material quantity take‑offs and cost estimates based on technical project documentation.
• Analyse project drawings and specifications to calculate material requirements.
• Identify and propose optimisation opportunities for project solutions and costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales managers and other team members.
• Contact subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and technical specifications.
• Use estimating and drawing‑review software to support calculations.
• Continuously improve and automate the estimating process.

Required profile

• Ability to read and analyse technical drawings and project documentation.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to make independent decisions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Previous experience in construction cost estimating is an advantage.
