Ferry Category Lead

About the role

Girteka, Europe’s largest asset‑based logistics company, is looking for a Ferry Category Lead to drive procurement excellence for its ferry operations. You will shape supplier relationships, develop sourcing strategies and lead a dedicated supply team.

Key responsibilities

• Search, evaluate and qualify potential ferry suppliers.
• Lead negotiations to secure optimal terms and conditions.
• Design and implement procurement strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Analyse procurement data, KPIs and produce stakeholder reports.
• Manage and develop the dedicated supply team, setting goals and assigning tasks.
• Ensure effective collaboration with other organisational units.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management or sales, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English (minimum C1 level).
