Financial Compliance Manager

About the role

As the Financial Compliance Manager at Vinted, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Group’s financial reporting complies with internal policies and external regulations. You will develop accounting policies, align internal processes, and provide advisory support on IFRS and other compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee financial compliance and accounting policies tailored to Vinted’s business model, reviewing them as regulations and practices evolve.
• Monitor regulatory and accounting standard developments and adjust policies and procedures accordingly.
• Advise Finance Control teams on complex IFRS compliance and accounting treatment questions.
• Work extensively with external auditors to achieve high‑quality financial reporting standards.
• Collaborate daily with Business Finance Control, Group Accounting, and internal audit teams.
• Maintain regular touch points across Group Finance and business‑unit finance teams, covering internal controls, financial planning, analytics, and operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial compliance and accounting within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and their application.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement accounting policies.
• Experience working closely with external auditors.
• Excellent professional judgment and analytical skills.
