Financial Controller

About the role

Omnisend is looking for a Financial Controller to join its finance team. You will work in a data‑driven environment, supporting the company’s ecommerce marketing platform with accurate financial reporting and process improvement. The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the office (Vilnius, Kaunas or Charleston) and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processes and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely outgoing payments.
• Support month‑end close, prepare financial analyses and monitor expenses across cost centers.
• Coordinate sales‑tax compliance and work with external service providers.
• Assist with annual and interim audits, providing documentation and reconciliations.
• Drive automation and AI initiatives within finance and support ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance or controlling.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent in English.

Required skills

• Advanced Google Sheets / Excel proficiency.
• Confidence working with large datasets.
• Experience with automation and AI‑driven finance solutions.
