Financial Crime Analyst

About the role

Assess customer, transaction, and open‑source data to identify trends or red flags and make risk‑based decisions. Conduct complex investigations across AML, KYC, sanctions, fraud and transaction monitoring while delivering high‑quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess data and identify red flags, making sound risk‑based decisions.
• Conduct and review investigations in AML, KYC/ODD/EDD, sanctions, fraud, and transaction monitoring.
• Prepare clear, accurate documentation, summaries and case findings.
• Deliver work that meets project requirements, internal procedures and regulatory expectations.
• Support quality, process improvement and knowledge sharing across the team.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in financial crime prevention, AML, compliance, fraud or investigations.
• Good understanding of AML/CTF, KYC, compliance, fraud, risk and related frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on sensitive cases.
• Analytical mindset with clear written and verbal reasoning.
• Fluent English (C1 preferred) and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
