Financial Crimes Quality Control Analyst

About the role

The Financial Crimes Quality Control Analyst will assess customer, transaction and open‑source data to identify trends, red flags and make risk‑based decisions. The role involves conducting and reviewing complex investigations across AML, KYC, sanctions, fraud and transaction monitoring while ensuring high‑quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess data and identify red‑flag patterns to support financial crime prevention.
• Conduct and review investigations in AML, KYC/ODD/EDD, sanctions, fraud and transaction monitoring.
• Prepare clear, accurate case summaries and documentation aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Support quality improvement, process optimisation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in Financial Crime Prevention (AML, compliance, fraud, investigations, etc.).
• 1+ year quality‑control experience in a financial‑services environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to explain reasoning in writing and verbally.
• Fluent English (C1 preferred) and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.

What we offer

• Annual salary range €22,000 – €36,000.
