About the role

The Finance Management Department Head will lead the finance function of AB Amber Grid, a Lithuanian natural gas transmission system operator. Reporting to the CFO, the role is responsible for shaping financial strategy, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the company’s transition to green hydrogen and biomethane integration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement finance management and control strategies.
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Participate in short‑term and long‑term financial planning, cash‑flow forecasting and management.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulated financial statements and reporting in accordance with TFAS.
• Oversee asset and business valuation processes and risk‑management activities, including corporate insurance.
• Drive finance process optimisation, automation and business‑intelligence solutions to enhance data‑driven reporting.
• Contribute to the implementation of a new finance management system.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics, audit or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance management or audit, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in risk and asset management, financial forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting regulations and TFAS standards.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Leadership ability to motivate and align teams toward common goals.
• Analytical mindset with strong information synthesis skills.
• Initiative, responsibility, entrepreneurial attitude and client‑orientation.
