FinTech Internal Auditor

About the role

As a FinTech Internal Auditor you will evaluate the technology, processes and controls that underpin Nasdaq’s FinTech products and operations, including the growing use of AI. The role suits curious, analytical professionals who thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment and enjoy collaborating across global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the quality of controls across the FinTech division, covering software development lifecycle, client success, data management, security, operational monitoring, sales, contract management, billing and revenue recognition.
• Design, plan and execute internal audit programs, working with business and technology stakeholders to understand process design and perform data‑analytics testing.
• Conduct audit interviews, walkthroughs and control assessments for all FinTech processes.
• Communicate audit observations clearly, providing constructive feedback within appropriate business context.
• Leverage AI and automated audit tools to improve research, analysis, documentation and workflow efficiency while maintaining professional judgment and integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong interest in technology, software development and AI‑enabled business processes.
• Several years of experience in technology, audit, risk, controls or related professional roles.
• Excellent analytical and critical‑thinking abilities, high integrity and comfort working with large data sets.
• Fluent written and spoken English and a collaborative approach to stakeholder relationships.
