About the role
We are looking for a German‑speaking SAP Transportation Management (TM) Lead to drive the TM workstream of a global digital transformation for a leading household‑appliance manufacturer. The role combines senior transformation leadership with deep SAP TM solution architecture across a hybrid S/4HANA Private Cloud and side‑by‑side EWM/TM landscape.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the SAP TM workstream through all SAP ACTIVATE phases, delivering fit‑to‑standard workshops, fit‑gap analyses and solution designs.
- Define and govern the TM transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with central program governance and design authority.
- Manage a mixed delivery team of client IT staff and external SAP TM consultants, providing coaching and knowledge transfer.
- Design end‑to‑end transportation processes, target operating model and data architecture, enforcing SAP Clean Core principles.
- Define future‑state TM solution architecture and oversee integration with SAP EWM, S/4HANA, SD, MM, FI and the SAP Integration Suite.
Required profile
- 15+ years of SAP Supply Chain Management experience, with at least 8 years focused on SAP TM.
- Proven leadership in large‑scale, international SAP S/4HANA rollout programmes, using the SAP ACTIVATE methodology.
- Strong ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Business fluency in German and English.
Required skills
- SAP Transportation Management (TM) – planning, execution, freight order, settlement, carrier management.
- SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud ERP and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
- Integration expertise with SAP SD, MM, FI and SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience with hybrid/side‑by‑side architecture models.
