German‑Speaking Senior SAP TM Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Senior Consultant specialized in SAP Transportation Management (TM) to join a major digital transformation program. You will act as the functional expert for the Transportation Management workstream, delivering end‑to‑end solutions on a SAP S/4HANA private‑cloud ERP landscape with a side‑by‑side EWM/TM platform.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and build SAP TM solutions, including organizational structures, planning profiles, charge calculation, Transportation Cockpit, freight settlement and output management.
• Support Fit‑to‑Standard workshops, conduct Fit‑Gap analyses and drive solution design across Explore, Realize and Deploy phases.
• Enforce SAP Clean Core principles and industry best practices during configuration.
• Design functional processes for outbound and inbound logistics, inter‑company and plant‑to‑plant transportation, and define master data models for carriers, networks, locations and freight agreements.
• Execute unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing, managing defects to resolution.
• Support integration design and validate end‑to‑end data flows between SAP TM and adjacent modules such as SAP EWM, SD, MM, FI, Yard Management and Integration Suite.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a senior SAP TM consultant on SAP S/4HANA private‑cloud environments.
• Proven track record delivering SAP Activate‑based implementations, including configuration, testing and deployment.
• Strong functional knowledge of transportation planning, freight execution, carrier assignment and logistics master data.
• Ability to work closely with solution architects, business stakeholders and cross‑functional SAP teams.
• Fluent German language skills for effective communication with DACH‑region stakeholders.
