German‑Speaking Senior SAP Transportation Management Consultant

About the role

The Senior Consultant SAP TM will act as the core functional expert for the Transportation Management workstream of a global digital transformation program. Working closely with the SAP TM Lead, solution architects and business stakeholders, you will design, configure and deploy end‑to‑end logistics solutions on SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud and a side‑by‑side EWM/TM platform.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and build SAP TM solutions covering organizational structures, planning profiles, charge calculation, Transportation Cockpit, freight settlement and output management.
• Lead Fit‑to‑Standard workshops, Fit‑Gap analyses and solution design sessions across Explore, Realize and Deploy phases.
• Design outbound and inbound logistics processes, define transportation master data, and validate integration with SAP EWM, SD, MM, FI and Yard Management.
• Execute unit, integration, UAT and regression testing, managing defects to resolution.
• Support go‑live preparation, data migration, deployment execution and hyper‑care, while coaching junior team members.

Required profile

• 7–12+ years of SAP SCM experience, including 5+ years dedicated to SAP TM implementations.
• Proven experience on large‑scale, international SAP S/4HANA rollouts using the SAP ACTIVATE methodology.
• Business fluency in German and English, with willingness to travel as needed.
