Head of Accounting & Automation

About the role

Eneba is looking for a Head of Accounting & Automation to lead the accounting function across a growing portfolio of more than eight legal entities. You will be responsible for building and managing the accounting team while driving the automation roadmap that replaces manual reconciliation and reporting with AI‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional accounting projects, collaborating with Product, Tech, Legal and Commerce on new business lines and process automation.
• Build, hire and structure the accounting team, assign entity ownership and manage performance.
• Implement accounting technologies, drive AI adoption and automation across the function.
• Operationalise new group entities – set up charts of accounts, accounting processes and inter‑company relationships.
• Develop and maintain internal accounting controls, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate group audits and ensure GAAP compliance in all jurisdictions.
• Oversee tax reporting, regulatory filings and compliance with financial covenants.
• Act as primary contact for internal departments and external parties such as tax consultants and auditors.

Required profile

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing multi‑jurisdictional accounting, audits and tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Track record of building and leading high‑performing accounting teams.
• Ability to partner with product, technology and legal teams to drive process improvements.
