Head of Accounting & Automation

About the role

Eneba is looking for a Head of Accounting & Automation to lead the accounting function across a growing group of legal entities. You will build and manage a high‑performing accounting team while driving AI‑powered automation of month‑end, reporting and reconciliation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional accounting projects with Product, Tech, Legal and Commerce, including new business lines and automation roll‑outs.
• Build, hire and structure the accounting team, assign entity ownership and manage performance.
• Implement accounting technologies, drive AI adoption and automate manual workflows.
• Operationalise new entities – set up charts of accounts, intercompany relationships and group structures.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies and procedures, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate group audits, oversee tax reporting and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to build and scale an accounting team.
• Deep expertise in Lithuanian GAAP and/or IFRS, intercompany accounting and consolidation.
• Strong business acumen and experience with high‑growth tech or marketplace environments.
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian, both written and spoken.
