Internal Audit SME – Third-Party Risk Management

About the role
Artea Bank is seeking an Internal Audit Subject Matter Expert to provide independent assurance over the Group’s end‑to‑end management of third parties, outsourcing arrangements, ICT service providers and critical function providers. You will work across business, technology, procurement, risk, legal and compliance while maintaining audit independence.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex internal audits covering third‑party risk management, outsourcing and vendor assurance.
- Assess governance and controls across the full third‑party lifecycle, from initiation to exit.
- Evaluate compliance with DORA and applicable EBA expectations for outsourcing and ICT third‑party risk management.
- Review identification, classification and oversight of providers supporting critical or important functions.
- Assess provider‑level controls, contractual protections, service performance, security, resilience, concentration risk and exit arrangements.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience in internal audit, TPRM, outsourcing, technology risk, operational resilience, procurement risk, vendor assurance, compliance or supervision.
- Practical experience across the entire third‑party lifecycle, from due diligence to monitoring and exit.
- Working knowledge of DORA and relevant EBA outsourcing and ICT risk‑management expectations.
- University degree in business, technology, risk, law, finance or related discipline; professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CTPRP are a plus.
Required skills
- DORA compliance and EBA outsourcing risk‑management frameworks.
- Experience with cloud services, financial‑technology platforms and core banking service providers.
- Familiarity with assurance frameworks such as SOC 1, SOC 2, ISAE 3402 and ISO 27001.
