Invoice to Cash (AR) Team Lead

About the role

As the Invoice‑to‑Cash (I2C) Team Lead at BMI Group, you will own the end‑to‑end financial flow that turns strategy into operational success. You will work closely with Sales, Legal and Operations to shape credit risk, collections and cash application processes for a global competence centre.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and coach a diverse team of junior to senior I2C accountants, fostering a culture of growth and balance.
• Identify, design and implement process simplifications, standardisations and automation across the I2C cycle.
• Develop proactive cash‑flow strategies, partnering with Sales and Legal on high‑value accounts to protect working capital.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Credit, Collections, Cash Application and Reconciliation, ensuring audit‑ready operations.
• Leverage SAP S/4HANA, Celonis and other analytics tools to turn data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in L2C/I2C covering credit, collections, cash application and reconciliation.
• 2+ years of people‑first leadership in a shared‑services or multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of working‑capital metrics such as DSO, aging analysis, bad‑debt provisioning and cash forecasting.
• Fluent business English with excellent communication skills across regional teams.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; professional qualifications (ACCA, CMA, PMP) are a plus.
