About the role

Ignitis Group is looking for a motivated engineer to join the Hydro‑aggregates and Hydrotechnical Structures Maintenance team at the Kruonis pumped‑storage power plant in Kaunas. The role focuses on the technical upkeep and safe operation of mechanical equipment within the hydroelectric facility.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute preventive maintenance and repair work on mechanical installations.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of external contractors.
• Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes.
• Prepare technical documentation such as repair reports and procurement specifications.
• Participate in the installation of new equipment and technical project work.
• Assign tasks to team members and monitor their completion.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and fire‑protection regulations.

Required profile

• Higher technical or engineering education.
• Strong planning, organisational and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read technical schematics and drawings.
• Initiative, result‑orientation, attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Valid B‑category driver’s licence.
