About the role

The position is for an Engineer (male or female) who will join the Hydro‑aggregates and Hydro‑technical Structures Maintenance team at the Kruonis hydro‑accumulation power plant. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of mechanical equipment through maintenance, repairs and new installations.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and carry out technical maintenance and repair work on mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate and control the activities of external contractors.
• Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes.
• Prepare technical documentation such as repair reports and procurement specifications.
• Participate in the installation of new equipment and technical projects.
• Assign tasks to team members, monitor progress and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor compliance with safety and fire‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Higher technical or engineering education.
• Experience in planning, organising and coordinating activities.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Ability to read technical schematics and drawings.
• Initiative, result‑orientation, attention to detail and teamwork.
• Valid category B driver’s licence.
