About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a junior biotechnologist to join the biopharma production team in Vilnius. You will work in a clean‑room environment producing buffers, reagents and other bioproducts, gaining hands‑on experience with modern manufacturing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manufacture bioproducts, buffers and reagents according to approved procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory measurements such as pH, conductivity, density and titration.
• Operate production equipment, conduct sterile filtration and other manufacturing operations.
• Document production data, fill quality and manufacturing records accurately and on time.
• Support inventory management of reagents and production supplies.
• Assist in identifying and solving technical or process issues.

Required profile

• University degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering or a related natural science.
• Basic laboratory skills acquired through studies, internships or final projects.
• English proficiency sufficient for working with procedures and technical information.
• Computer literacy, including MS Office and internal data systems.
• Ability to work in a clean‑room environment and lift up to 16 kg.
