Junior Data Engineer – Business Intelligence

About the role

You are a technology enthusiast, customer‑oriented and passionate about Business Intelligence. Join ContiTrade, the fast‑moving trade organisation of Continental, and help shape and operate a cloud‑based Business Intelligence and Data Platform as a Junior Data Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business reporting requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain Azure‑based data pipelines and integrations.
• Implement data transformations and build analytical data models.
• Ensure data quality through testing, monitoring and optimisation.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, report developers and business stakeholders.
• Document technical implementations and data processes.
• Support platform operations, enhancements and upgrades.
• Contribute to incident, change and service management activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or a comparable background.
• 0–2 years of experience in data engineering or data analytics.
• Experience working with virtual and international teams.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
