Junior Site Reliability Engineer – Databases

About the role

Vinted is looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer to help evolve and scale its database infrastructure, which spans over 2,000 servers across multiple data centers. You will join the Persistence Platform team, working on critical tooling and services that support millions of daily queries.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, improve and scale the Vitess infrastructure serving ~2 million queries per second.
• Participate actively in team decision‑making and architecture discussions.
• Build, maintain, improve and scale the Temporal workflow infrastructure.
• Automate operational tasks using Temporal workflows.
• Develop and enhance tooling around the overall database platform.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of programming experience.
• A curious, responsible individual eager to master new concepts and technologies.
• Advantageous: experience with relational databases and Kubernetes.
