About the role

MARS Lithuania, the largest pet‑food manufacturer in the Baltics, is looking for a motivated Quality Technologist to join its R&D department in Gargždai. You will work in an innovative environment, improving processes and ensuring that products meet the highest safety and quality standards for millions of pet owners worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare specifications for raw materials, finished products and production processes, and propose improvements.
• Coordinate production to ensure compliance with specifications and product quality/safety requirements.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, coordinating corrective actions.
• Participate in the introduction of new equipment, systems and programs, including testing, risk assessment and successful implementation.
• Develop and maintain work instructions for plant personnel.

Required profile

• Higher education in food technology, chemical engineering or veterinary science (final‑year students are welcome).
• Excellent Lithuanian and English language skills.
• Strong result orientation and ability to learn quickly.
• Good teamwork and organisational abilities.
