Lead Graphic Designer

About the role

Nord Security is looking for a Lead Graphic Designer to set the creative bar for the NordVPN product squad while supporting the broader Nord Security brand. The role blends hands‑on design execution with mentorship, ensuring visual quality across web, mobile, and video assets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and uphold visual quality standards for website surfaces, mobile marketing, in‑app assets, and video content.
• Coach and critique designers, establishing clear benchmarks for high‑craft digital and motion work.
• Collaborate with the Brand Design Lead to keep NordVPN assets aligned with global brand guidelines.
• Translate marketing goals into compelling visual narratives for web layouts, app store listings, and video formats.
• Build production pipelines (file systems, Figma tooling, handoff patterns) that enable fast, high‑quality asset delivery.
• Integrate generative AI tools ethically to accelerate creation and iteration across platforms.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in marketing design, branding, or creative agencies.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring designers, formally or informally.
• Strong visual design and art‑direction skills with a portfolio showing refined craft and conceptual depth.
• Ability to balance brand consistency with performance‑driven outcomes.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
