Legal Counsel

About the role

You will join Inchcape Lithuania’s Legal team in Vilnius, providing comprehensive legal support to all Inchcape businesses in the country. The role ensures legal compliance, effective risk management, and strong partnership across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for all Inchcape businesses in Lithuania.
• Act as a trusted legal advisor to the Lithuanian management team.
• Collaborate with regional and global legal teams.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws, including GDPR, and manage data privacy policies.
• Advise on corporate governance, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor legal developments and ensure compliance with Lithuanian and European laws (anti‑bribery, AML, antitrust).
• Oversee corporate governance matters such as board resolutions and statutory records.
• Identify legal risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage litigation and disputes.
• Represent the company in negotiations, legal proceedings, and regulatory relations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts (dealership, employment, lease, IT, insurance, etc.).

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law from a recognised university.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law (less may be considered for a promising candidate).
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian and EU legal requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• High level of ethics, integrity and professionalism.
• Fluency in Lithuanian and strong English, both written and verbal.
