Maintenance Technician – Production & Facility Equipment

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production and facility equipment at our Kaunas plant. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, EHS, and Facilities teams to minimise downtime, improve equipment performance, and uphold a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation issues.
• Perform preventive, predictive and condition‑monitoring maintenance on production lines and facility systems.
• Support equipment installations, commissioning, utilities connections and tooling preparation.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS and follow documentation standards.
• Assist with spare‑parts management, vendor coordination and external service activities.
• Carry out routine facility maintenance including HVAC, power distribution, building areas and safety systems such as fire sprinklers.
• Identify safety risks, quality concerns and improvement opportunities, escalating when required.

Required profile

• Secondary school education with 1‑2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Technical knowledge of mechatronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals and technical documentation.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and work under time‑sensitive conditions safely.
• Vocational or technical certification in engineering, mechatronics, automation or similar is advantageous.
