About the role

We are seeking a motivated butcher assistant to become part of our retail meat department located at Kalvarijų street 151 in Vilnius. Working side‑by‑side with an experienced butcher, you will help ensure that fresh meat is prepared safely, accurately, and presented attractively for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the butcher in cutting, trimming, and portioning fresh meat according to product specifications and customer requests.
• Support the preparation of a variety of meat products, including marinated items and ready‑to‑cook selections, following established recipes and quality standards.
• Observe and enforce strict hygiene and food‑safety regulations, keeping the workstation, tools, and storage areas clean and organized at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels of meat cuts and report any shortages or quality concerns to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent).
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a responsible, reliable attitude.
• Attention to detail, especially regarding hygiene and product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow clear instructions.
