Mid Mechanical Design Engineer – Networking Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Mid Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen our ambitious mechanical design team in Vilnius, Lithuania. You will work on leading networking solutions that serve complex Industry 4.0, Smart City and Green Energy environments. Teltonika develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment such as routers, switches, gateways and modems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop networking products in close collaboration with electronics, software and testing teams.
• Create and manage CAD models, drawings and design documentation from concept to serial‑production approval.
• Assemble and inspect prototype samples and write inspection reports.
• Communicate directly with suppliers and manufacturers regarding manufacturability and part quality.
• Support the manufacturing department in solving production issues and optimizing processes.
• Provide ideas and suggestions for internal process improvements and new product development.

Required profile

• Higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering; R&D experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Base knowledge of electronics, telecommunications networking principles and hardware is advantageous.
