Mid SRE DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mid engineer with a strong inclination towards Site Reliability Engineering to join one of the largest internet service providers in Europe. Your main focus will be on monitoring services, servers and devices as part of the Service Monitoring, Service Assurance (SMSA) squad, managing and enhancing both third‑party and in‑house monitoring solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve monitoring solutions for services, servers and network devices.
• Support mission‑critical systems, perform incident response and maintain monitoring platforms.
• Manage passive and proactive monitoring suites, support CI/CD pipelines and drive unification of monitoring tools.
• Work on an evolving backlog of service‑assurance initiatives, shaping focus areas based on team strengths.

Required profile

• Solid scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell).
• Strong Linux operating‑system knowledge.
• Excellent networking knowledge.
• Result‑oriented engineering mindset, comfortable working independently.
• Strong English communication skills.
